Random Makeup Tutorial - Lady Gaga Bold Telephone

Now to show how to create this dramatic and mega bold look!

1. Apply pink lipstick. This helps to soften the effect of the eye.

2. Put on clear lip gloss to add shine to the lip.

3. Put on a bit of gray-green or turquoise eyeshadow right on the lid. If you apply turquoise, cover it with a layer or two of black eyeshadow to make it look more like the shown coloring on Gaga's lids.

4. Above the first eyeshadow application, add a thin, light strip of pink or magenta. This helps create melodramatic contrast to really make the eyes POP!

5. Line the whole eye with black fluid liner, but don't cat-eye or point either end of the eye.

6. Add sultry gray-brown, gray-green, brown, or plain gray eyeliner pencil around the entire eye, or as much of it as you can.

7. Apply volumizing mascara.

8. Swipe a light amount of pink blush diagonally toward the lips, and then add another swipe across the outer sides of the cheeks. The pink in the lips and cheeks helps tone down the excess eye makeup and completes the look.

Random Makeup Tutorial - Rihanna Flowery Green Liner

In this tutorial, I'll tell you step-by-step how to recreate this soft, unique look on your MeDoll. (:

1. Apply clear lipgloss. This adds shiny glimmer to the look.

2. Put dusty brick red or orangey-pink blush on. Use sparingly. Apply on the apples of the cheeks and the lower-mid section of the cheek. This adds rosiness which looks soft and girly. The look is pretty innocent and soft, so this is necessary.

3. Line the edge of her upper lid with black fluid liner. This adds a tiny bit of simple edginess.

4. Use vomumizing mascara on her upper lashes only. Since we're not using it on her lower lashes, you'll be able to clearly see the garden-esque green eyeliner under her eyes.

5. Line her lower lid with green eyeliner.

6. To get the shiny effect, add white eye pencil under her eyes. (NOT shade stick, I mean white eye pencil.)

7. Add pale apricot-colored shadow on her upper lids, and then maybe a touch around her outer lower lids.

Random Makeup Tutorial - Marilyn Monroe

Now for a random makeup tutorial depicting Marilyn's classy and classic look! Brilliant, bold, simple, AND timeless!

1. Apply red lipstick. This step is crucial to add the classic bold red lip that was basically Marilyn's trademark.

2. Add a light swipe of pink blush in the mid-lower part of your doll's cheeks. Add a bit to the mid-side part of the doll's cheeks as well. This adds the hint of simple blushing.

3. Add a very light application of black or dark gray eyeshadow on the outer part of your doll's eyelid, shielded behind her longest outer lashes. This adds a light, classy, shadowy effect.

4. Then add a bit of skin-colored or pale pink shadow on the inner part of the lid. This helps add a touch of extra simple girlishness and highlighting.

Random Makeup Tutorial - Drew Barrymore Barbie Lip

Now, I will show how to create the above look (Barbie lip) for your doll!

1. Apply Cotton Candy lipstick from Dot. This shade of pink very closely resembles the one Drew is wearing. Pale pink is a cool, but still soft and pretty color, and can add a girlish touch to simple makeup.

2. Add pink blush on the middle of your doll's cheeks. A bit of the blush toward the side of their face is acceptable, too. This enhances the Barbie factor, making your doll look girlish and flushed.

3. Line your doll's upper lash line with black fluid liner to add an edginess to the look and harden up the softness of the rosy cheeks and light lip.

4. Add a bit of pale pink eyeshadow on her lids, even swiping a bit on the outer part of her bottom lid. It's not very visible in the above photo, but Drew is indeed wearing a bit of pale pink eyeshadow.

5. Apply volumizing mascara on your doll's upper lashes ONLY.

Selena Gomez Makeover 2

Welcome back to the second edition of Celeb Sell-Out (That's the name I picked) where I'll show how to get a look similar to/matching a celeb's! Currently, I'm working on the Selena Gomez chapter. This is the second part! I hope you enjoy!

THINGS YOU'LL NEED

1. A black jacket (i.e. Boyfriend Jacket from Stardoll, Pleather Jacket from Miss Sixty)

2. A black skirt (i.e. Skirt from Stardoll, High Waisted Black Skirt from PPQ)

3. A slim gray top (i.e. Pollock Silvery Top from Bonjour Bisou)

4. MS Necklace (Miss Sixty)

5. Any shoes you like! (Suggestions: Gold Strap Cork Heels from Baby Phat, Farmers Boots from Stardoll, Dusty Pink T Strap Shoes from Pretty n' Love)

6. Russet Orange Glitter Lipstick (Luxe)

7. Spiced Coral Shade Stick (Dot)

8. Black Fluid Liner (Dot)

9. Black Volumizing Mascara (Dot)

10. Warm Apricot Blush (Dot)

11. Pink Lavender Blush (Dot)

12. White Collection Eyeshadow (Dot)

13. Luxe Lipgloss (Luxe)

MAKEUP TUTORIAL

1. Lightly line your doll's eyes with the black liner without cat-eying or pointing her inner eyes. Simply edge her eyes lightly with black fluid liner. This adds a clean simplicity.

2.  Apply volumizing mascara.

3. Apply Russet Orange Glitter Lipstick.

4. Apply Luxe Lipgloss. This helps the lipstick look softer and lighter. Bold lipstick isn't a great idea without the right application and retouching.

5. Swipe the White Collection Eyeshadow lightly beneath your doll's brows, barely adding a trace of this highlighting color under the outer end of her brows. This adds highlighting effects and balances the warmth of the lip color and the darkness of the liner.

6. Use the Spiced Coral Shade Stick to lightly rim your MeDoll's eyes with pale pink-coral. Use ONLY on the edge of the top lid and the outer edge of the bottom lid. This gives her girlishness and warms up her eyes so that her lips don't pop too much.

7. Brush on the Warm Apricot Blush in the middle of her cheeks.

8. Just barely above the first blush application, apply a very light swipe of Pink Lavender Blush. This creates a shimmering, realistic, and girly look on her cheeks.

CLOTHING MAKEOVER

1. Put on your gray top. It's good for it to be slim-fitting and fairly short. (See Things You'll Need for my suggestion)

2. Put on your black skirt. (See Things You'll Need for my suggestions)

3. Put on your belt. (Pretty much any mid-waist black belt will work.)

4. Put on your black jacket. (See Things You'll Need for my suggestions)

5. Put on your Miss Sixty MS Necklace.

6. Add your choice of shoes.

Hi guys! It's me, WhatsWhatGurl, here to introduce a new idea of mine- to create makeover ideas to show how to recreate the fabulous and fun looks of stars! I'll start with this chapter: Selena Gomez. This post is part one! Tell me what you think in the comments below. (:

 

THINGS YOU'LL NEED

1. Volumizing Mascara (Dot)

2. Black Fluid Liner (Dot)

3. Black Eye Kohl (Dot)

4. Warm Apricot Blush (Dot)

5. Cashmere Rose Blush (Dot)

6. Sunset Gold Eyeshadow (Dot)

7. Heart Dotted Sweater (Wild Candy)

8. A black, strapless dress. (i.e. Ruffled Basic Frock from Bonjour Bisou, Principals Annissa Dress from Unknown)

9. Any shoes you like! (Suggestions: Black Gold Heels from Perfect Day, Sheer Studded Heels from Perfect Day, Two Tone Heels from Perfect Day)

10. Luxe Lipgloss (Luxe)

MAKEUP TUTORIAL
1. Line your doll's eyes with the fluid eyeliner. Don't cat-eye it. Make a light point around the inner corners of your MeDoll's eyes. Don't fully point it, though. This creates a dark and pretty look, without looking melodramatic.
2. Use the Black Eye Kohl to add smokey black on the outer part of her eyelid. Then add a bit of it beneath her eye on the outer side. Don't connect the two areas! This addition to her makeup creates a balancing effect so her eyeliner doesn't stand alone.
3. Apply mascara to make her eyes pop even more!
4. Apply the lip gloss for extra glamorous shimmer!
5. Add the eyeshadow, liberally applying it onto your doll's eyelid. This step is optional because of how light the eyeshadow is, if you want to save a few SD. This shadow creates a highlighting effect on her lids.
6. Swipe on a bit of the Warm Apricot Blush on the middle part of her cheeks, swiping diagonally toward her mouth. This warms up her look.
7. Swipe very lightly with the Cashmere Rose Blush just beneath the first blush. This adds the girlish rosiness without going overboard.

CLOTHING MAKEOVER 
1. Use the Heart Dotted Sweater from Wild Candy in place of the sheer polka-dot top.
2. Use a strapless black dress atop the sweater. I suggest the Ruffled Basic Frock (found at Bonjour Bisou) or the Principals Annissa Dress (I only found it through Search- click the Black and Dresses icons. I found it on the last page.)
3. Pick shoes and accessories! For shoes, I suggest Black Gold Heels, Sheer Studded Heels, and Two Tone Heels (all from Perfect Day).

Some Cute Ideas For Nails!

Hey, today I will show you a few ideas done entirely by me, so here they are...






This first one, was inspired by little red riding hood.
The bows add that little bit of cuteness to it, and the
butterfly tattoo adds that little bit extra to it.

This second idea has beautiful shades of pink,
and the white and black are just there to
give it a little perk of the shades that work well.
I love the flower tattoo, it creates a hardness to it,
but it also looks edgy.

Seventeen Magazine Inspired Look

To the left is a picture taken from an issue of Seventeen magazine. Thousands of girls refer to Seventeen for tips and advice... and the mag's inspiration to you doesn't have to stop there! You can base your Stardoll style off of Seventeen outfits! In this post, I'll show you how to make an outfit (ALL NON-SS!) inspired by the third outfit in the picture (farthest to the right).

1. Of course, go to the Starplaza to take a look at the clothes you'll need to wear!
2. To find your shirt, you can go to the Search tab in the Starplaza. Then click the White icon. Then, click the Shirts icon. Finally, click the BASICS store icon. Click Search. It (White Boatneck Top) should be the very first shirt that appears. If you don't wish to use the Search tab, you can simply go to the BASICS store in the Starplaza and buy the White Boatneck Top. It's white, it's boatneck, it's cheap, it shows off the tops of your shoulders, and it has mid-forearm cut sleeves.
3. To find the skirt, go back to Search and click the Blue icon. Next click on the Skirts icon. Lastly, select the Stardoll (Girls) store icon. Then click Search. It (Flower Skirt) should be the first thing that appears. If you don't want to use Search, you can go to the Stardoll (Girls) store and look for the Flower Skirt. For me, it appears on page four of the Stardoll store. It's bell-shaped kind of, it's bright blue, it has a darker blue waistband, and it has simple darker blue floral print on it.
4. To find the sneakers, go to Search and click the Gray icon, then the Footwear icon. Click Search. They're the Folk Girls' Sneakers by Evil Panda. If you don't feel like using Search, simply go to the Evil Panda store in the Starplaza and look for Folk Girls' Sneakers. I find them on the fourth page of Evil Panda. The shoes look like gray Converse.
5. To find the funky pearls the model in the above picture wears, go to the Beauty tab in the Starplaza, and go to GLAM 'R' US. On the ninth page of their selections, I found a necklace of white pearls. Appropriately, this necklace was called Pearl Necklace. Add that to your outfit.
6. Go back to the Beauty tab and go to the Splendid store. On the fifth page you should see a pretty white/cream colored flower. Creatively, Stardoll named it Flower. -.-" Add that to your shirt in place of the frilly white rose, and Voila! You've got a Seventeen inspired outfit. 

PS: If you want to add extra flair and are SS, try using the Alex & Olivia Tribute skirt, called Faux Fur Skirt. It's a bit more flashy. Also, there's more than one pearl necklace. Try on other pearl necklaces you like until you find a pearly look you love!

The White Stuff

The White Stuff is the new clothing line or theme in the starplaza. It consists of different styled outfits usually the colours of white, or very light colours. In my opinion, some of the items are beautiful, but others, not so much.

As for the pricing, I think they could be lower. Some items are also sold in starcoins so non-superstars can buy. The items are sold in Bonjour Bisou.

Fashion Must-Haves

FASHION is like an amusement park.

1. There's the obvious reason: fashion is usually fascinating or amusing.

2. There's all sorts of stuff, from fun to scary to classic, just like the things you can find on the runway! (Also, just like in fashion, at the amusement park there are things that can make you want to puke!)

3. We all know basic things about the amusement park: how to fasten your seatbelt so you won't fly out of the ride, what to eat so you won't be tempted to puke, and to stay away from the rickety cheap rides!

So, today, I'm going to talk about some basic guidelines to Stardoll fashion, and some basic clothing options you should buy if you can spare a couple starbucks!

1. Make your MeDoll match! Make sure your MeDoll and your outfit don't clash. That shows lack of interest in your style! So take the time to make sure you're now wearing, say, a green dress, while you have a red hair color! Christmas colors aren't appropriate at ALL times! 

2. Pick something that doesn't overwhelm your MeDoll. If you have short hair and pale makeup on your doll, it normally ISN'T a good idea to wash her out with bold colors and poofy/big clothing. Stick to simple things to wear if you're going with a short do and/or light makeup.

3. NEVER FORGET SHOES. Make sure you remember to spice things up with good shoes! Try buying a funky pair of shoes and then building the rest of your outfit off of it!

4. If you have a couple extra bucks and you aren't saving up for anything special, why not go out to the Suite Shop or the Starplaza and buy a few multi-tasking fashion items? Now, I'll list some ideas!

• Audrey Boots from the Stardoll store which cost 40 Starcoins. They're EXACTLY the same as the Black Leather Boots from Rio, which are 5 Stardollars. The only minor difference is that the more expensive Rio boots have a hint of shine that is nearly unnoticeable. Anyways, these knee-high boots are stylish and fairly priced, and go with TONS of stuff. They can work with dresses, skirts, over skinny jeans, under flare, boot-cut, or bell-bottom jeans, and many more. I suggest using them under black or dark skinny jeans, or using them with a dress/skirt with see-through leggings or tights underneath. These boots ROCK.

• BASICS clothing, which cost from 20 to 50 Starcoins. They're all affordable, and the Tube Tops (30 Starcoins each) are great for layering by themselves OR with other shirts. They can also be made into dresses using the colored Mini Skirts (40 Starcoins apiece). There are matte colored tote bags if you want to add simple spice to an outfit, and simple flip-flops that are available at BASICS may be the perfect footwear choice to pair with your bikinis!

Miss Sixty Summer

The Miss Sixty store has been in the Starplaza for a while with funky 1960's inspired fashion, but just recently it has come out with its summer collection! I like the new unique options, although the old ones were great too. I like how much variation in different types of clothing there are, along with the cool prints and belts! I think the new collection is fresher and a tad bit more summery than the others, but not much too different. I hope Miss Sixty stays around for a while though... or at least until I get my Stardollar refill!

Overall, I rate the new collection 4/5 since it's cool but a bit overpriced, but the collection is STILL great! My favorite items are the MS Necklace for 12 Stardollars and the Green Glitter Jumpsuit for 20 Stardollars.

Riviera Store

Stardoll has a store called Riviera in the Starplaza! I love this store and its fair pricing. It has medium-priced Starcoin items and low-priced Stardollar items. It contains LOTS of summery glam themed apparel along with TONS of glitzy accessories! It currently has four pages of varying clothing, including bathing suits and other beach wear. There are also some hats, which not many dare to use on their MeDolls, along with a lot of options for funky sunglasses.

I happily rate this new-ish shop 4.5/5 stars! If it had a few more options, then it would certainly be a 5/5 for me! My favorite items from this store are the Beaded Bikini Top for 6 Stardollars and the Reef Ruffled Bodycon for 15 Stardollars (I own it!).

Young Hollywood Store

Stardoll has somewhat recently introduced a new store, called Young Hollywood. This store, much like LE and Antidote, features clothes that are in limited supply, meaning it's expensive and the Starplaza runs out of it QUICK. I like that there are SO many options, and that the options are all unique. However, I'm not a fan of the overpricing of even the simple, mediocre tank tops and the likes (although the tank tops aren't WAY too overpriced). It's one thing if you price a lot for jeans or dresses or complex tops, but for a boring accessory? That's a bit much in my opinion. Your thoughts?


Anyways, I rate this store just barely a 4/5. My favorite items are the A Cross The Universe dress (sold out) which would cost 175 Stardollars along with the Ashley At Premiere dress (also sold out) which would cost 110 Stardollars.

MONTE CARLO

Monte Carlo, the new movie featuring starlet Selena Gomez along with two popular stars, Cory Monteith and Leighton Meester, has come out with its own store in the Stardoll Starplaza! Within the new shop, there are imitations of some of the clothes worn by the characters of the movie. Although the idea of the whole movie-based shop is cool, I think the Monte Carlo store fails to impress. It seems to only have the drabbest (most plain and boring) of the Monte Carlo movie apparel, although the options are fairly priced. Overall, I give it 2.5/5 stars. My favorite selections are the Strapless Organza Dress for 14 Stardollars and the Leopard Print Bag for 60 Starcoins. But, enough about my opinions! Tell me what YOU think in the comments below!

Evening Falls

Hey, I'm here to talk about the new store "Evening Falls". If you don't know what Evening Falls is, it is a new store in the starplaza. (Click HERE to see the store.) It consists of interesting fashions that mostly come in different shades of black, pink, and purple. When I first heard the name "Evening Falls", I thought it would be something to do with evening gowns, a waterfall, or the colour blue, but boy was I off! I would say that the style of clothing is a punk-ish style with a girly taste added to it.

As for the pricing of the store, the highest price of the whole entire store is 22 stardollars, which is not that bad in my opinion, considering that the clothes are not half

bad either.
